Ducks at The Metropole Hotel
This grand lady and her babies arrived back on MacCurtain Street today this week. Duty Manager John Crean was on hand to capture a little video and help her on her merry way.

The Mother duck and her little ducklings waddled along MacCurtain Street, passing our and other local businesses.
She is no stranger to the Victorian Quarter, having previously popped in for breakfast over a year ago.
This morning at the quack of dawn, we had an interesting family who walked in for breakfast! It was quackers! #Ducks #Ducklings @TrigonHotels #PureCork pic.twitter.com/nDn8MuQbPf

As we are not currently open, we reassured her we would welcome her and her ducklings back for breakfast as soon as we re-open and the lovely Gardai assisted her to safely return to the Lee.
This lot tried ducking and diving by hiding under a car on McCurtain Street in Cork. Probationer Garda Cathal Power encouraged them back towards the river and they all swam away. Happy days! 👮♂️👮♀️🦆 pic.twitter.com/mX50PqHEao
